IBIZA MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL
The fifth edition of the IMVF continued its upward trajectory.
The online music video competition attracted some simply spectacular videos and our judges once more were hard put to choose the best in competition. 2016 also saw two new additions to the festival, the online competition for best Short Film and best Documentary, which was judged by Thom Trigger and again showed some extraordinary talent.
Rupert Bryan and Elizabeth Fear founded the event in 2013 and last year James Kirkham and Jack Horner helped to shape the IMVF Futures, a select invitation only series of mini conferences which has led to the inclusion in the event for 2017 of the IMVF Tomorrow’s World section of the event which will be open to a wider range of creatives from all sides of the audio visual world.
Principal supporters of the IMVF are the San Jose Town Council, the Council of Ibiza, SONY, SuzCruz, MyManagement, Blue Marlin, Ibizkus and Bodegas Can Rich.
The Ibiza IMVF has grown from a one day event into a full weekend of exciting Ibiza style workshops, chats, screenings and innovative formats with fantastic networking opportunities.
The online competitions are open for submissions. Details of the full schedule will be published in July 2018.
